The Yarisawa hiking trail, which was affected by the heavy rainfall on July 1st, has completed its temporary restoration.

Although the trail is now reopened, please note that the points rerouted during the restoration are susceptible to being affected by future rainfall, similar to the recent event.

Please consider your skills carefully before setting out on the trail and assume responsibility for your own actions.

The following are the points rerouted during the restoration.

・Slope affected by land-slide

・Trail eroded by river flood

・Along the stream banks affected by bank erosion

Finally, please make sure to arrive at the hut you stay by 3pm as it is a rule for hiking in Japan.

Search and rescue efforts may be delayed in the evening due to unstable and rapidly changing weather conditions.
